    Funded by the Michigan Fitness Foundation (MFF), ECHO is dedicated to strengthening community connections with veterans by identifying assets and addressing barriers to accessing healthy food and safe spaces for physical activity. Through this initiative, ECHO aims to gain a deeper understanding of veterans' unique needs while fostering supportive relationships that enhance their overall well-being.

  • Geriatric Health. Summer 2025

    Funded by the Michigan Fitness Foundation (MFF), ECHO is working to better understand the needs of older adults and strengthen community connections to support their well-being. This initiative focuses on identifying resources and overcoming barriers to accessing healthy food and safe spaces for physical activity, ensuring older adults have the support they need to lead healthy, active lives.

    Wholehealth at ECHO is a comprehensive approach to health culminates in being made whole. ECHO recognizes that true health involves nurturing all aspects of a person’s life, ensuring every need is addressed. By fostering this interconnected care, ECHO promotes overall wellness and personal growth for every individual.

  • Financial Health. Fall 2026

    ECHO advances financial stability through education and resources, ensuring economic security and opportunity. We address gambling problem by educating at-risk youth and families, strengthening financial knowledge, and reducing addiction-related harm in underserved groups.

  • EYP Initiative Fall 2026

    EYP (ECHO Youth Prevention) Initiative is a Detroit-based initiative that prevents youth substance abuse through evidence-based education, early intervention, and family support. Led by licensed professionals and community mentors, EYP strengthens resilience and healthy decision-making from early childhood through adolescence. Strategic investments and partnerships amplify its impact and reduce future addiction risk.
