Healthy Families Initiative (EHFI)
Echoes Healthy Families Initiative (EHFI) is a transformative program addressing disparities in prenatal, paternal, and infant care. EHFI focuses on African-American fathers aged 16-24, their pregnant or postpartum partners, and infants aged 0-12 months, EHFI equips fathers with the skills and support needed to foster thriving families through trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate practices.
Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ)
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE)
57.6% of Black children live without their biological father, perpetuating cycles of poverty, poor academic performance, and behavioral issues. EHFI seeks to break these cycles by empowering fathers to play active roles in their families and communities.
